Unearthed Narratives" is a series of short films produced by DBK Studios in partnership with Sky Studios. Derrick Kakembo from Reform The Funk was responsible for photographing the key artwork images for the short films Teju's Tale, Fields, and WHY ME?. DBK Studios founder Koby Adom, known for directing BBC's Noughts and Crosses, Netflix’s Top Boy, and A24's Dreaming Whilst Black, enlisted Reform The Funk to handle both behind-the-scenes stills coverage and the creation of key artwork images.

 
 
 
 
 
 

The series explores a variety of topics such as care work, sickle cell anaemia, social media culture, racism in 1950s England, and life in London.
